In their feedback, employees cited a strong sense of mission, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth
Seven Seas Water Group has been recognized as a 2025 Houston Chronicle Top Workplace. Each year, Houston’s newspaper of record publishes its Top Workplaces list — a snapshot of how employees truly feel about their organizations. The honor is especially significant because rankings are determined entirely by confidential feedback from the Energage Workplace Survey.
For us at Seven Seas, earning a spot on this year’s list is more than an honor — it’s a testament to our supportive culture, one that fosters collaboration and values the contribution of every team member as we strive to make a positive impact on the world by providing access to reliable, resilient water and wastewater solutions.
What Sets Seven Seas Apart

At industry events and across project sites, Seven Seas team members bring a shared sense of purpose and collaboration to every challenge.
While employee benefits, job perks, and flexible work schedules all play a role in workplace satisfaction, the survey feedback identified what sets Seven Seas apart: employees at Seven Seas feel connected to the company’s mission, valued by leadership, and supported in their growth. Several themes emerged consistently across the survey:
- A deep commitment to mission and impact: Employees highlighted how meaningful it feels to work for a company whose values directly support public health, community development, and environmental sustainability. Many expressed pride in knowing that they are part of something bigger and that their work is making a positive impact on the lives of fellow Texans.
- Leaders who listen and respond: Survey data showed that employees have strong confidence in senior leadership, whom they consider transparent and responsive. Employees shared that they feel genuinely appreciated and that managers seek their input, communicate openly about challenges, and follow through on improvement suggestions. They noted that new ideas and different points of view are encouraged. This sense of being heard contributes to a workplace where people feel trusted, respected, and empowered.
- Supportive and inclusive work environment: An environment where employees feel respected and supported emerged as another major theme. Employees shared that colleagues are friendly, mutual respect is strong, and they feel included and valued as integral members of a team contributing to meaningful work.
- Real growth opportunities: Team members praised the varied and flexible work environment that provides new learning opportunities and fresh challenges daily. Employees noted that the company is growing and expanding, and there are many opportunities to contribute to that growth, as well as for personal development, allowing employees to move up within the company.
What Employees Are Saying

Team members across Seven Seas share a deep commitment to mission, collaboration, and community impact — the foundation of our Top Workplaces recognition.
Anonymous feedback from the survey paints an even clearer picture of the work culture at Seven Seas. Here’s what some of our team members shared through their confidential Energage survey responses:
“Providing people with water, having an opportunity to learn of new technology introduced to the sites, partaking in the events, and traveling to various sites around the Caribbean.”
“My team is supportive and works well with each other. There’s mutual respect between colleagues. I like the growth and challenges at work. There are a lot of opportunities to contribute to growth and be a positive influence to the future of the company.”
“I grew up in Point Fortin. So working to provide water to the Point Fortin area makes me proud that I could give back my time.”
“I greatly support the company’s mission and appreciate that I am paid fairly for the work I provide. I also love the hybrid work schedule that allows me to better collaborate with team members in person while also having the flexibility to work remotely. Seven Seas is growing quickly, so I am excited to be part of that success and grow professionally.”
“The whole group is goal-oriented with positive attitudes.”
These comments echo what the numbers reveal: Employees feel valued, supported, and connected to something bigger than themselves.
How Culture Strengthens the Work We Do

Team-building moments like this reflect the supportive, people-first culture that helps Seven Seas teams do their best work.
Seven Seas doesn’t just design and deliver water and wastewater solutions — our teams ensure the long-term sustainability of communities. That work demands precision, accountability, and collaboration from a highly engaged, mission-driven team.
A strong culture is essential to ensuring that the company, our staff, and the communities we serve all thrive. When employees feel supported, they are motivated to innovate more freely, solve problems more creatively, and bring greater care to critical projects. Whether designing treatment systems for expanding communities or helping utilities navigate regulatory changes, our team’s dedication directly influences the quality and reliability of the solutions Seven Seas provides.
Earning a Top Workplaces distinction is affirmation that the company’s culture is not only healthy but a driving force behind its impact.
