Embracing sustainability, inclusion, and rewarding career opportunities

If you are interested in helping solve global water issues such as overcoming water scarcity, a job in water treatment may be the perfect career choice for you. Seven Seas Water Group, a leading provider of water treatment solutions and services, offers a wide range of career opportunities in this growing industry.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Seven Seas offers equal opportunities for women and men, including leadership roles, promotions, salary increases, and four weeks of maternity and paternity leave. The company has partnered with InHerSight, a women’s job search platform that allows women to rate their workplaces and highlight benefits that might appeal to other women, such as flexible work hours, family support, work enrichment and growth opportunities, and social and team-building activities. With an InHerSight score of 4.1 stars, Seven Seas is rated fourth on InHerSight’s list of Best Utilities Companies to Work For.

At Seven Seas, we recognize that our people are our greatest asset, and we invest heavily in our staff. We hold monthly team-building events, incentivize staff wellness programs, and have an entrepreneurial approach that promotes employee development. Through sponsoring educational endeavors across our sites, including formal university studies and specialized career programs, we not only support our staff’s advancement but also bolster the company’s overarching growth strategy.

Focus on Sustainability

Seven Seas has a focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship. We support the planet through the implementation of innovative water and wastewater treatment technologies, energy-efficient measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and our hybrid work schedule. This flexible schedule, where staff come into the office two days a week and work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, not only reduces carbon emissions associated with commuting but also supports a work-life balance that promotes employee well-being.

Seven Seas’ sustainable water and wastewater treatment solutions are making a positive impact on the environment. Our decentralized wastewater treatment plants treat more than 150,000,000 gallons of wastewater every day, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 140,000 tons since trucks are no longer needed to transport wastewater to a treatment facility.

Seven Seas stands out as a leader in sustainability. At a 2023 GRESB Infrastructure Asset Assessment — a global evaluation that provides objective scoring and peer benchmarking of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance — Seven Seas attained GRESB’s top five-star rating with a score of 100/100, ranking first among six of our peers.

Active in Our Communities

Seven Seas is involved with a number of charities and our staff participate in local events. Seven Seas’ employees recently volunteered at the Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s invasive plant removal strategy at Buffalo Bayou Park in Houston. The project’s goal is to remove invasive plant species to let wildflowers grow in their place. The event was a success, with volunteers removing 14 bags of invasive plants.

Water Industry Employees Gathered to Remove Invasive Plants

Houston employees came together to assist in removing invasive plants that were hindering the growth of native Texas Wildflowers. This fosters a healthier and more diverse ecosystem, supporting local wildlife and preserving the natural beauty of the area.

According to the event organizer, “The volunteers did an amazing job, making an incredible difference looking back over that area from any direction. Lots of wildflowers are now visible and will really be able to grow now. Even better is there will be less competition with the invasive plants when the wildflowers go to seed. I expect that patch will be in a standard maintenance mode by next spring.”

To mark Earth Day 2024 and its theme, “Planet vs. Plastics,” Tampa employees volunteered to clean up R.E. Olds Park, ensuring it remains free of litter. By safeguarding the park, our team contributed to maintaining the cleanliness of the Tampa Bay area. These efforts highlight the significance of united action in nurturing our environment.

Be a Part of Solving Water Challenges

Besides having a willingness to roll up their sleeves, the Seven Seas team also has a creative side. In celebration of World Water Day, our team embraced this year’s theme, “Water for Peace,” by participating in the Peaceful Water Mandala art activity as we reflected on the role that water plays in our world and our mission, and our commitment to promoting peace through water conservation.

If you want to be part of an energetic team that is passionate about clean water and strives to reduce waste, emissions, and pollution by developing innovative technologies and solutions, Seven Seas offers an exciting and rewarding career path and a collaborative working environment.
