St. Thomas, USVI, Wednesday June 25, 2014 – Seven Seas Water executives, along with Tom Pankratz (Water Desalination Report), Manuel Pereira (CaribDA President) and Mr. Hubert Lopez (Water Advisor to the Government of Sint Maarten), welcomed Governor John de Jongh to CaribDA’s Annual Conference in St. Thomas. The conference was hosted by the VI Water and Power Authority with Seven Seas Water providing the Diamond Sponsorship of the event. Governor de Jongh welcomed the attendees to the Territory of the Virgin Islands, followed by keynote speeches by VI Water & Power Authority’s Executive Director Hugo Hodge and Seven Seas Water’s CEO, John Curtis. Mr. Hubert Lopez made remarks addressing the significant impact the use of desalination has made in transforming the Island Territory of Sint Maarten and Mr. Tom Pankratz provided an overview of desalination’s past, present and future.
Seven Seas Water, along with 40+ other industry experts exhibited at the conference. David Starman, USVI Regional Manager Seven Seas Water and Mr. Vernon Alexander, VI WAPA, teamed up to present “Transitioning from Thermal Desalination to Reverse Osmosis in the US Virgin Islands.”
