St. Maarten, Thursday, January 7, 2016 – The Parliament of Sint Maarten hosted the Inter-Parliamentary Kingdom Consultation (IPKO) from January 5-8. During the event, Delegations from the Parliaments of Aruba and Curacao, as well as from the First and Second Chambers of the Netherlands were welcomed to tour the desalination plant in Point Fortin that is owned and operated by Seven Seas Water. Franklyn Richards, the Managing Director of Seven Seas Water Sint Maarten, welcomed the group and highlighted the Company’s commitment to the community describing aspects of charitable giving in the country. Fred Hung, VP of Business Analysis, described the partnership between Seven Seas Water and the Government of Sint Maarten, and the Company’s history of providing Water-as-a-ServiceTM in St. Maarten and several other island countries throughout the Caribbean. Lester Bryan, the desalination Plant Manager, guided the plant tour describing the desalination process.
